Notice is hereby given that Herefordshire Council made the PUBLIC FOOTPATH LQ85, LONGTOWN (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 temporarily closing the said footpath from OS Grid Reference SO 3098 2773 to SO 3158 2792. The closure is required due to an unsafe surface. The alternative route is via LV10, LV4 and the U75000. Queries may be directed to prow@herefordshire.gov.uk. A copy of the order and plan may be seen at www.herefordshire.gov.uk. The Order came into operation on 24 July 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months (unless extended by the Secretary of State) or until any said works have been completed, (whichever is the earlier), or until determined by Herefordshire Council.
