(VARIOUS ROADS, EASTVILLE AND HORFIELD, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) (TEMPORARY ONE WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be:-

1. to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice;

2. to introduce, temporarily, one way traffic working in:-
(a) a westerly direction in Downend Road from Muller Road westwards for 5 metres; and
(b) a south westerly direction in Ralph Road from Muller Road south westwards for 21 metres.
The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads and will be operative from 10th August 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the restrictions may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 10th August 2026 and 2nd September 2026).

(VARIOUS ROADS, BRENTRY AND HENBURY, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) (TEMPORARY 20 MPH SPEED LIMITS) (TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF 30 MPH SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be:-

1. to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads as specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice; and

2. to supersede, temporarily the existing 30 mph speed limits in operation in the lengths of roads as specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice with speed limits of 20 mph.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads and will be operative from 10th August 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the restrictions may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place in phases, between 10th August 2026 and 28th May 2027).

(WILLS WAY, HARTCLIFFE, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES AND FOOT PASSENGERS) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and pedestrians that length of Wills Way which extends from Lake Shore Drive eastwards for 134 metres.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 17th August 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. daily from 17th August 2026 to 21st August 2026).

(BATTERSBY WAY TO HENBURY ROAD FOOTPATH, HENBURY, BRISTOL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY FOOT PASSENGERS) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to pedestrians that length of Battersby Way to Henbury Road Footpath which extends from Battersby Way to Henbury Road.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath and will be operative from 18th August 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 18th August 2026 and 8th September 2026).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Battersby Way, Hallen Road, Henbury Road and vice versa

(KING ROAD AVENUE, AVONMOUTH, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) (TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be:-

1. to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of King Road Avenue as specified in the Schedule to this Notice; and

2. to suspend, temporarily, when appropriate signs are covered, the existing one way traffic in King Road Avenue working:-
(a) south eastwards in its northern carriageway, from its southern carriageway to a point 70 metres north west of St. Andrews Gate Roundabout; and
(b) north westwards in its southern carriageway, from a point 74 metres north west of St. Andrews Gate Roundabout to its northern carriageway – so as to allow access and egress for vehicles.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 16th August 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the restrictions may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 16th August 2026 and 24th August 2026).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: King Road Avenue (part unaffected), St. Andrews Gate Roundabout, Crowley Way, St. Brendans Roundabout, Bristow Broadway, Portway Roundabout, Portway (A4), West Town Road, Victoria Road, Avonmouth Dock, Royal Edward Dock
