Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F40968 Linking Betjeman Cl to Abbey Rd from its junction with U47028 Abbey Rd to its junction with U47020 New Rd.

Reason: Footpath drainage and resurfacing work due to sewer works by Speller Metcalfe.

Alternative route: Diversion Southbound: U47020 New Rd, Link Footpath F40967 Garden Stiles, Link Footpath F40623 Orchard Rd (btw no. 38/40), Link Footpath F40623 Orchard Rd (fronting nos. 30/46), U47033 Orchard Rd, U47029 Farleigh Rd, U47028 Abbey Rd.

Diversion Northbound: U47028 Abbey Rd, U47019 Newlands, U47020 New Rd.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 33 days (24hrs). Commencing: 27 July 2026.

(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4084 Pershore Rd from its junction with U44742 Stratford Grove for a distance of 490 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by Touchstone Civil Engineering.

Alternative route: B4084 Pershore Rd (part), B4084 Evesham Rd, B4084 Avon Bank, B4084 Bridge St, B4084 High St, A4104 Station Rd, B4083 Station Rd, B4083 Terrace Rd, A44 Abbey View Rd, A44 Wyre Piddle Bypass, A44 Evesham Rd, A44 Worcester Rd, B4624 Worcester Rd, A4184 High St, A4184 Abbey Rd, B4084 Pershore Rd (part) and vice versa.

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2274 Mickleton Rd from its junction with C2049 Stratford Rd for a distance of 1400 metres in a south easterly direction.

Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing inc civils works over multiple phases by WCC.

Alternative route: C2049 Stratford Rd, C2006 Weston Rd into Gloucestershire and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 17 August 2026 and 28 August 2026.

(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of:

1. U47106 Mayfield Road from its junction with U47106 Avon Rd for a distance of 62 metres in a westerly direction.

2. U47106 Avon Road from its junction with U47106 Mayfield Road to its junction with U47105 Hurst Ln.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Proposed order: To close that part of:

1. C2011 Low Rd from its junction with C2263 Main St to its junction with C2011 Rous Lench Green to Low Rd.

2. C2011 Rous Lench Green to Low Rd from its junction with C2011 Low Rd for a distance of 270 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Utility work by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2263 Main St, C2263 Ab Lench Rd, C2263 Rous Lench to Ab Lench, C2022 The Green, C2011 Rous Lench Green to Low Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 17 August 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Order made: To close that part of A44 Evesham Rd from a point 650 metres west of its junction with C2121 Chadbury Rd for a distance of 1600 metres in a Westerly direction.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A44 Evesham Rd, A44 Wyre Piddle Bypass, A4104 Link Rd, A4104 Wyre Rd, A4104 Station Rd, B4084 High St, B4084 Bridge St, B4084 Evesham Rd, B4084 Pershore Rd, A4184 Abbey Rd, A4184 High St, A4184 Greenhill, A4184 Twyford Bank, A44 Chadbury Bypass and vice versa.
