Temporary Traffic Management Order Of C93, Melbury Bubb

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 24 July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 05 August 2026.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway surfacing works.

The effect of the Order is as follows: 

[1] To impose a temporary road closure on C93, MELBURY BUBB, between its junction with Great Head Lane and Woolcombe Hays, a distance of approximately 1045 metres. [,

2] To impose a parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along C93, MELBURY BUBB, between its junction with Great Head Lane and Woolcombe Hays, a distance of approximately 1045 metres.

[3] To impose a clearway as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along C93, MELBURY BUBB, between its junction with Great Head Lane and Woolcombe Hays, a distance of approximately 1045 metres.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections. Temporary Closure Of Tanzey Lane, Marnhull

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended.

All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Tanzey Lane, Marnhull from junction with Sodom Lane and B3092 (in both directions), a distance of approximately 290 metres.

The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 3rd August 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 14th August 2026

This Order will provide a safe working area to enable BCT Services South and Wessex Water to complete necessary works on behalf of Hampshire Homes.

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 28 July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 12 August 2026.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance works.

The effect of the Order is as follows:

[1] To impose a temporary road closure on BATCOMBE ROAD, LEIGH, between its junction with Load Lane and Club Corner, a distance of approximately 2130 metres.

[2]To impose a parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along BATCOMBE ROAD, LEIGH, between its junction with Load Lane and Club Corner, a distance of approximately 2130 metres.

[3]To impose a clearway as indicated by signs on site to prevent parking on the highway along BATCOMBE ROAD, LEIGH, between its junction with Load Lane  and Club Corner, a distance of approximately 2130 metres. Temporary Closure Of Various Roads, Sturminster Newton

DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Various Roads, Sturminster Newton as listed: [i] C20, Sturminster Newton from outside March House, Rivers Corner, Sturminster Newton to outside Barnhaven Farm, Rivers Corner, Sturminster Newton; [ii] C98, Sturminster Newton from junction with C20 to a point 30 metres to the east. 

The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 3rd August 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 14th August 2026.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out drainage investigation and associated repair works.

Temporary Closure Of Various Roads, Shaftesbury

DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended.

All vehicles, cyclists and horse riders will be prohibited from proceeding along Various Roads, Shaftesbury: [i] Mampitts Road between Pound Lane and Mampitts Lane; [ii] Mampitts Lane between Mead Way and Mampitts Road.

The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 17th August 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 4th September 2026.

This Order will enable Maebill Civils Limited to carry out works to install speed ramps, bollards, sign posts & signs and lining.
