WHEN: 16 August 2026 to 16 August 2026 WHERE: Bateman Street, at its junction with Osmaston Road – for a distance of approximately 40 metres. Osmaston Road, suspend the right turn into Bateman Street. REASON: Telecom works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Osmaston Road – Bradshaw Way – London Road – Osborne Street – Bateman Street (and the same in the opposite direction).
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON BRIERFIELD WAY, MICKLEOVER, DERBY
WHEN: 03 August 2026 to 07 August 2026 (08:00am - 16:00pm) 10 August 2026 to 14 August 2026 (08:00am - 16:00pm) 21 August 2026 to 24 August 2026 (20:00pm - 06:00am) WHERE: Day closures – Brierfield Way, from its junction with The Hollow for a distance of approximately 40 metres in an easterly direction. Night closures – Brierfield Way, from its junction with The Hollow, for a distance of approximately 80 metres East and West to its junction with Ingham Drive. REASON: New signalised crossing installation ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Uttoxeter Road – Corden Avenue – Chain Lane – Pastures Hill – Haven Baulk Lane – The Hollow (and the same in the opposite direction).

WHEN: 10 August 2026 to 03 September 2026 WHERE: Bracknell Drive, from its junction with Aycliffe Gardens to its junction with entrance to Derwent Campus for Noel Baker and St Martins School REASON: Carriageway reconstruction and Resurfacing works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Bracknell Drive – Crayford Road – Boulton Lane (and the same in the opposite direction).

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON ALLESTREE LANE, DERBY
WHEN: 08 August 2026 to 12 August 2026 WHERE: Allestree Lane, at its junction with Kedleston Road. REASON: Major gas works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Allestree Lane – Blenheim Drive – Birchover Way – Kedleston Road (and the same in the opposite direction).
