Manchester City Council proposes to make Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the titles and effects of which are as follows:
CITY OF MANCHESTER (ALBYNS AVENUE, BECKENHAM ROAD AND WATERLOO ROAD) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING, PROHIBITION OF LOADING/UNLOADING AND AMENDMENT) ORDER 2026
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME:
Albyns Avenue, (i) both sides from Beckenham Road northerly direction for 5m, (ii) south-west side from Cheetham Hill Road south westerly for 6m. Beckenham Road, (i) both sides from Waterloo Road south- easterly for 8m, (ii) north side from 5m west of Albyns Avenue southeasterly to 5m east of Albyns Avenue, (iii) north side 23m east of Albyns Avenue easterly and then north easterly for 5m, (iv) south side from 73m east of Waterloo Road easterly and then north easterly for 17m. Waterloo Road, east side from 10m north of Beckenham Road southerly to 10m south of Beckenham Road.
NO LOADING/UNLOADING AT ANY TIME:
Albyns Avenue, (i) both sides from Beckenham Road northerly for 5m, (ii) north-west side from Cheetham Hill Road southerly for 6m. Beckenham Road, (i) both sides from Waterloo Road south- easterly for 8m, (ii) north side from 5m west of Albyns Avenue south- easterly to 5m east of Albyns Avenue. Waterloo Road, east side from 10m north of Beckenham Road southerly to 10m south of Beckenham Road.
CITY OF MANCHESTER (ALBYNS AVENUE, CHEETHAM) (ONE WAY TRAFFIC AND AMENDMENT) ORDER 2026
ONE WAY TRAFFIC:
Albyns Avenue, for its entire length - direction south to north.
Existing Orders shall be amended to support these proposals. A copy of the proposed Orders, the Orders it is proposed to amend, a Statement of Reasons, and a plan showing the proposals can be requested by emailing phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or examined in person by appointment at the Customer Service Centre, Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm. Objections to the proposals must be sent in writing to phlegal@manchester. gov.uk or to the address below, stating the grounds on which they are made, no later than 21st August 2026.
