What is happening?

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C120 PAXFORD ROAD EBRINGTON TO PAXFORD

(BLOCKLEY PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C120 Paxford Ebrington to Paxford Road from its junction with the B4479 to its junction with the B4035 for a distance of approximately 979 metres.

The reason for the closure is for a new water connection.

The said road is expected to be closed from 29th July 2026 until 4th August 2026.

However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C140 STATION ROAD (BOURTON ON THE WATER PARISH)

COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C140 Station Road from outside of the property known as ‘No. 3’ to outside of the property known as ‘The Furrows’ for a distance of approximately 20 metres.

The reason for the said closure is installation of water pressure monitoring equipment.

The said road is expected to be closed from 27th July 2026 until 10th August 2026 only.

However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 400681 THE OLD BAKEHOUSE TO ST JOHNS CHURCH

(GREAT RISSINGTON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400681 The Old Bakehouse to St Johns Church from its junction with Rectory Lane to its junction with Cotswold Meadows for a distance of approximately 35 metres. The reason for the said closure is for drainage works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 10th August 2026 until 14th August 2026 only.

However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
