TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC000 151114933: The City of Manchester (Brown Street, Deansgate Ward) (Temporary No waiting and No Loading) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to restrict vehicular traffic from Marsden Street to Marriots Court 3 Parking Bays and 1 Disabled Parking Bay. The City Council is satisfied that this restriction is necessary in order to facilitate repairs to a streetlamp . It is expected that the works will be in progress from 10th August 2026 to 14th August 2026. The order shall come into operation on 10th August 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If the restriction ends within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
ORDER NO. MCC 151531578: The City of Manchester (Various Roads, Rusholme Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Longford Place, Ash Grove, Ayton Grove, Holbeck Grove, Pine Grove, Merwood Grove. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Footway reconstruction. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 3rd August 2026 to 25th September 2026. The order shall come into operation on 3rd August 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
