What is happening?

KIRKLEES COUNCIL - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

(NABCROFT LANE, CROSLAND MOOR, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Nabcroft Lane, Crosland Moor from a point outside property No. 49 for approximately 50 metres in a westerly direction PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Nabcroft Lane, Blackmoorfoot Road, Park Road, Church Avenue, Yews Hill Road, Yew Green Road.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Friday, 31 July 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Bentley Street, Lockwood from its junction with Swan Lane to its junction with Meltham Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available as follows:- Clockwise - via Swan Lane, Meltham Road; Anti-clockwise - via Meltham Road, Victoria Street, Swan Lane.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 28 July 2026 and remain in force until 2 November 2026 between 08:00 hours to 16:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
