THE M60 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 7 CLOCKWISE AND ANTICLOCKWISE EXIT AND ENTRY SLIP ROADS)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 09346363) intends to make an Order in the Borough of Trafford, in the City of Manchester, in the County of Greater Manchester, to allow for resurfacing works on the A56 Chester Road.
The Order will ban all traffic from the following sections of the M60 Motorway:-
i. the clockwise exit and entry slip roads at Junction 7;
ii. the anticlockwise exit and entry slip roads at Junction 7.
Prohibitions i. - ii. are expected to be in place overnight, subject to traffic signs, between 20:00 and 06:00 during a period starting on Monday 17 August 2026 and ending on Saturday 22 August 2026. Diversion routes via alternative junctions of the M60 Motorway and local roads will be well signed.
The prohibitions will not apply to emergency services or works vehicles. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall, from time to time, be indicated by traffic signs.
