NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure and Regulatory Services of the Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to her by the said Council proposes to make the Wigan Borough (Factory Street, Tyldesley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven on Factory Street, Tyldesley on 1st September 2026 from 09:30 to 15:00.
The alternative route for traffic is: Charles Street – Elliott Street – Shuttle Street.
The Order is necessary to allow installation of Frame and Cover.
Broadwell Drive, Leigh – Temporary Closure

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure and Regulatory Services of the Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to her by the said Council proposes to make the Wigan Borough (Broadwell Drive, Leigh) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven on Broadwell Drive, Leigh on 3rd September 2026 from 09:30 to 15:00.
Please note there is no alternative route available.
The Order is necessary to allow installation of frame and Cover.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven on Caldwell Avenue, Tyldesley on 3rd August 2026 to 23rd August 2026.
The alternative route for traffic is: Manchester Road.
The Order is necessary to allow a Gas Main Replacement Scheme.
Flapper Fold Lane, Atherton – Temporary Closure

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure and Regulatory Services of Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to her by the said Council has made the Wigan Borough (Flapper Fold Lane, Atherton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven on Flapper Fold Lane, Atherton from 17th August 2026 to 21st August 2026.
The alternative route for traffic is: Car Bank Street – Dorset Road – Brierfield Avenue.
The Order is necessary to allow new electric connection.
