Notice is hereby given that the Council made Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Common Ln, Appleton (Prohibition of Driving)

Temporary Order 2026

The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Common Ln from its jct. with Northwich Rd for a distance of 100m in an easterly direction. The Order will be effective from 7th August 2026 for 1 day. The alternative route will be via Northwich Rd, Well Ln, Common Ln & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to replace a transformer.

Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 32, 35 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers on 21st July 2026. The effect of the Order is as follows:-

1. The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation Order 2025, is hereby further varied or amended as follows:-

(a) In the 3rd Schedule by the deletion of:

Palmyra Sq Nth (South Side) – From its jct. with Bold St for a distance of 9.7m in a westerly direction.

(b) In the 40th Schedule by the deletion of:
