TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
TRO8794 – Green Lane In Wincham
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in WINCHAM to enable excavation to replace existing water main with new main works to be carried out by United Utilities Water Ltd.
GREEN LANE: Outside 48 to Outside 68
Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situation on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.
The Order will come into force on 27/07/2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 15 days to complete.
Alternative routes for through traffic – Traffic should proceed via: Green Lane, Linnards Lane, Church Street, Hall Lane.
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
TRO8796 – London Road In Northwich
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in NORTHWICH to enable sewer repair in carriageway works to be carried out by United Utilities Water Ltd.
LONDON ROAD: O/S No 58 (CW9 8AJ)
Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situation on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in TARPORLEY to enable excavation to replace existing water main with new main works to be carried out by United Utilities Water Ltd.
The Order will come into force on 27/07/2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 12 days to complete.
Alternative routes for through traffic – Traffic should proceed via: Quarry Bank, Knights Lane, Hollins Hill, Utkinton Lane, Hall Lane, Utkinton Road, John Street.
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
TRO23528 – Hartford Road In Northwich
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in NORTHWICH to enable Carriageway Surfacing and Lining works to be carried out by UE500 – Colas Ltd (CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER COUNCIL).
HARTFORD ROAD: Hartford Road closure between its junction at A556 Chester Road to London Road
NOTE: The works are weather dependant and may be subject to rescheduling in the event of inclement weather.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS
TRO8805 – Albion Road – Witton Street Footpath In Northwich
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict pedestrians on the following length of road in NORTHWICH to enable Hoarding and Scaffold around library, works to be carried out by Cheshire West and Chester Council.
ALBION ROAD – WITTON STREET: Footpath adjacent to Northwich Library
The Order will come into force on 13/08/2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 10 Months to complete.
