Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Swan Road, Beaumont in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 280m south of its junction with Lucas Lane for a distance of approximately 45m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd August 2026 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30014855096 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while service alteration works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Swan Street, Chappel in the City of Colchester from its junction with Popes Lane to its junction with Oak Road a distance of approximately 220m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th August 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411002WGSR8G3F – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Swan Street, Chappel Hill, The Street, A1124, B1024, A120, Brook Road, Popes Lane, Swan Street and vice versa.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tey Road, Aldham in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 940m south east, north west then north east of its junction with Chappel Lane for a distance of approximately 10m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th August 2026 for 1 night – 22:00–06:00, or where stated on a valid permit (KL701SUD-48-47-040826 – Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bridge examination works on behalf of Network Rail Works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Tey Road, Moor Road, Chappel Road, Brook Road, Great Tey Road, A120 From J B1024 To A12, Coggeshall Road, Station Road, North Lane, Brook Road, Tey Road and vice versa.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Wittheriars Way, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 15m north east of its junction with Magazine Farm Way for a distance of 15m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th August 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03166628769 – Anglian Water Business (National)). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stop tap repairs works are undertaken by Anglian Water Business (National).
