NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF CYCLIST – ACCESS REGULATION ACT 1984 – Yarwoodheath Lane, Millington and Rostherne
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit cyclists.
Prohibition of cyclists – Yarwoodheath Lane, Millington And Rotherne – For the full extent.
The alternative route will be via Yarwood Heath Lane, Southbound A556 Junction 8 M56 To Junction, A556 M56 J7 Roundabout, Bowden Roundabout, Lymm Road, Reddy Lane, Millington Lane, Chester Road, A556 From M56 J8 To M6 J19 Including Slips S, Cherry Tree Lane, Tom Lane and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Tuesday 4th August 2026 and will continue in force for 36 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 31st March 2028.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Station Road, Wilmslow
Notice Is Hereby Given That the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Station Road, Wilmslow – For the full extent.
The alternative route will be via Manchester Road, Manchester Road Roundabout, Dean Row Road, Dean Row Road Roundabout, Adlington Road Roundabout, Adlington Road, Macclesfield Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Monday 10th August 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 6th November 2026.
