(Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.53) Order 202*

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Effect of the order:

1. To Revoke: 'No Stopping Mon-Fri 8.30am-9.30am and 2.30pm-3.30pm on entrance markings.'

2. To Revoke: 'No Waiting Mon-Fri 8am-6pm'

3. To Implement: 'No Stopping Mon-Fri 8am-9.30am and 2.30pm-4pm'

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting titles: TQ680 930 Revision 1 to Revision 2 and TQ680 932 Revision 1 to Revision 2

(Finchland View Path and Anson Close Path, South Woodham Ferrers)

(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Effect of the order: To temporarily close Finchland View Path and Anson Close Path, South Woodham Ferrers in the City of Chelmsford as specified below.

Diversion will be Hullbridge Road, Ferrers Road, Cycleway leading to Culvers Rise and vice versa.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 27 July 2026 to 28 August 2026 between the times of 08:00 and 17:00, path will be open outside the working times or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public, while footway defects and renewing the area is undertaken.

The Order will come into effect on 27 July 2026 may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Charfleets Service Road, Canvey Island)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Charfleets Service Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Viking Way to its junction with Charfleets Road, a distance of approximately 135m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th August 2026 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M159858 – Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while valve replacement works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.

An alternative route is available via Charfleets Service Road, Mulberry Road, Canvey Road, Charfleets Service Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 30th July 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Clayburn Circle, Barstable)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Clayburn Circle, Barstable in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 195m south then south east of the junction with Brownlow Bend for a distance of approximately 40m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th August 2026 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30066885329 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

(Doublet Mews, Billericay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Doublet Mews, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Mercer Road to its end, a distance of approximately 65m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th August 2026 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2403838 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Fairlight Road, Hadleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Fairlight Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 30m south east of its junction with Lynton Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th August 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGSJ809Z – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Hullbridge Road, South Woodham Ferrers) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hullbridge Road, South Woodham Ferrers in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Woodham Hall for a distance of approximately 40m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st August 2026 (22:00–05:30) for 4 nights, or where stated on a valid permit (KL731WIS-34-10-210826 – Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while engineering works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

An alternative route is available via:

1. Hullbridge Road, B1012, Ferrers Road, Albert Road, Hullbridge Road and vice versa.

2. Hullbridge Road, Clements Green Lane, Inchbonnie Road, Ferrers Road, Albert Road, Hullbridge Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 30th July 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Woodham Road, Rettendon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Woodham Road, Rettendon in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 220m north east of its junction with Farm Crescent for a distance of approximately 20m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th August 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30049694448 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via A132, Fen Roundabout, A132, Rettendon Turnpike and vice versa. (with access only into Woodham Road).

The Order will come into effect on 30th July 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Anvil Way, Billericay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Anvil Way, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Blacksmith Close for a distance of approximately 65m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd August 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGSF308Y – Openreach Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Openreach Ltd.

(Barrington Gardens, Fryerns) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Barrington Gardens, Fryerns in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Bower Lane for a distance of approximately 40m in a north easterly direction.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.

"The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 3rd August 2026 for 33 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2404753 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while parking bay installation works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Barrington Gardens, The Fryth and vice versa (with access only into Bower Lane).

(Bower Lane, Fryerns) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Bower Lane, Fryerns in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 30m north west of its junction with The Fryth for a distance of approximately 55m in a north westerly direction.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.

"The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. (Bramble Road, Hadleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bramble Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 95m south east of its junction with Haresland Close for a distance of approximately 145m in a south easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st July 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M167524 – Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while permanent reinstatement works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.

(Broadmayne, Basildon) (Temporary Introduction of 40MPH Speed Restriction) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

1. To temporarily introduce a 40MPH speed restriction in that length of Broadmayne, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Lincoln Road to its junction with Broadmayne Roundabout, a distance of approximately 195m (eastbound only).

2. To temporarily introduce a 40MPH speed restriction in that length of Broadmayne, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Broadmayne Roundabout to its junction with Mopsies Roundabout, a distance of approximately 420m (westbound only).

The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 3rd August 2026 for 27 nights (19:00–05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2388636 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while traffic signal renewal works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Kimberley Drive, Noak Bridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kimberley Drive, Noak Bridge in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Wash Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th August 2026 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC454WH2CH02R-CSM – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th August 2026 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30019707069 – UK Power Networks).
