TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

THE C633 ELVEDEN ROAD AND STATION ROAD, ELVEDEN AND BARNHAM

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:

• C633 Elveden Road, Elveden

• C633 Elveden Road, Barnham

• C633 Station Road, Barnham.

This is to facilitate surface dressing and road marking works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A134, Culford Road, C632 from A134 to B1106 Ingham, the B1106, London Road Elveden and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from:

• 4am on 24/07/2026 - 9am on 25/07/2026 (surface dressing)

• 19/08/2026 - 25/08/2026 from 7.30pm - 5am (road marking).

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U1029 FOUNDATION STREET, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U1029 Foundation Street, Ipswich from no. 70 for 20 metres south westbound to facilitate remedial water works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Lower Brook Street, Tacket Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 03/08/2026 - 05/08/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF WAITING ON PART OF

THE U4424 DUCKAMERE AND FITZGERALD ROAD, BRAMFORD

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:

• the U4424 Duckamere, Bramford, from Loraine Way to Fitzgerald Road

• the U4424 Fitzgerald Road, Bramford, from Loraine Way to the B1067 Ship Lane.

This is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1067, the B1113 and vice versa.

For the duration of this closure there will be a prohibition of waiting on the U4424 Duckamere, Bramford, Ipswich. There will be no exceptions. As this road closure is required to permit essential works to the highway, any vehicles that remain in the area affected during the period of the restriction may be removed in accordance with powers available to do so. TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE U5225 WICKHAM LANE, COTTON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U5225 Wickham Lane, Cotton to facilitate surface dressing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Blacksmith Road, the B1113, Wickham Road, Finningham Road, The Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 24/07/2026 and 27/07/2026 from 8am - 5pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A1092 HIGH STREET, LONG MELFORD

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the A1092 High Street, Long Melford from 50 metres north of Harefield for 20 metres northbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A134, the A131, the A1124, the A1017 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate:

• on 02/08/2026 from 8am - 11.59pm

• from 7pm on 06/08/2026 until 6am on 07/08/2026

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U1730 PRIORY ROAD, WRENTHAM

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U1730 Priory Road, Wrentham from 120 metres west of the junction with the A12 for 130 metres westbound to facilitate pole testing and tree cutting works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A12 High Street, the B1127 Chapel Road, Priory Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 24/07/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1066 Workhouse Hill, Hartest from the junction with Coppy Meadow for 30 metres southbound to facilitate dig on air valve and draining chamber works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A1092, the A134, the A1302, the A143 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 03/08/2026 - 05/08/2026 from 9am - 4pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U6710 Crowland Road, Haverhill from Downs Crescent for 20 metres south westbound to facilitate water meter exchange. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Burton End, Chivers Road, Chimswell Way, Park Road, the A1307, Withersfield Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 03/08/2026 from 8am - 4pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the Thirlmere Drive to Drake Close unassociated footway, Stowmarket to facilitate a stop tap replacement. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Thirlmere Drive, Onehouse Road, Mallard Way, Drake Close and vice versa.

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:

• B1078 High Street, Coddenham from Oak Lodge to Crown Corner.

• B1078 Crown Corner, Coddenham from High Street to School Road.

This is to facilitate the installation of fibre network. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 03/08/2026 - 06/08/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:

• U1333 Upper Holton, Holton

• U1333 Road from the C961 to 1317 and 1327, Holton

• U1333 Sparrowhawk Road, Holton

• U1333 Road between 1318 and the B1124, Holton.

This is to facilitate surface dressing and road marking works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be the A144, the B1062, the A145, the B1124 and vice versa.

It is intended that these closures will operate from 03/08/2026 - 06/08/2026 from 8am - 5pm and from 26/08/2026 - 29/08/2026 from 8am - 5pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE C203 FROM THE B1123 TO DISTRICT BOUNDARY AND BLYFORD LANE, BLYFORD AND WENHASTON WITH MELLS HAMLET

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:

• C203 from B1123 to District Boundary, Blyford

• C203 Blyford Lane, Wenhaston with Mells Hamlet.

This is to facilitate surface dressing and road marking works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be The Street, Back Road, The Heath, Holton Road Wenhaston with Mells Hamlet, the B1123 and vice versa.

It is intended that these closures will operate from 03/08/2026 - 05/08/2026 from 8am - 5.30pm and from 24/08/2026 - 27/08/2026 from 7.30pm - 5am but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C962 Church Road, Flixton West from St Marys Close to the junction with Abbey Road to facilitate CCTV drainage on gullies. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be The Street, The Green, St Margarets Road, Uncles Lane, All Saints Road, St Michaels Green, Church Road, Road from C946 and C947 to C962, St Margarets Road, the B1062 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 03/08/2026 - 04/08/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C619 Cemetery Road, Lakenheath from the junction with Highfields for 150 metres westbound to facilitate electrical works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Highfields, Broom Road, the B1112, Mill Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 03/08/2026 - 04/08/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be the High Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 04/08/2026 - 06/08/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be Rising Sun Hill, Lower Road, Birds Green, Workhouse Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 03/08/2026 - 05/08/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

1. B1116 Laxfield Road, Dennington from the junction with Severalls Lane for 263 metres northbound

• B1116 North of Dennington, Dennington from Bell Corner for 460 metres northbound

• B1111 Bell Corner, Dennington from the B1116 North of Dennington for 51 metres southbound

This is to facilitate pole testing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion routes will be:

1. The B1118, the B1117, the B1077, the A1120 and vice versa.

2. The B1116, the B1117, the B1118 and vice versa.
