NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Braithwell Road and entrances to service road north and south of the works.

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the four parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice in phases for short periods of time between Monday 27th July and Monday 31st August 2026.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (gas main renewals).
SCHEDULE
(i) A618 Rotherham Road from its junction with Aughton Road to a point approximately 20m north of the northern kerb line of Park Street (the alternative route will be via High Street, Main Street and vice versa).
(ii) Alexandra Road at is junction with A618 Aughton Road or Rotherham Road (the alternative route will be via local neighbouring streets).
(iii) Nursery Road at is junction with A618 Aughton Road or Rotherham Road (there is no alternative route, the road is a cul de sac, access will be maintained for residents).
(iv) School Street at is junction with A618 Aughton Road or Rotherham Road (the alternative route will be via local neighbouring streets).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice from Saturday 1st August until Friday 2nd October 2026. The roads will not be closed at the same time.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (Water main renewal).

(i) Ivanhoe Road from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Anston Avenue (the alternative route will be via Anston Avenue)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council acting in its capacity as traffic authority for the Borough of Rotherham has made the above-mentioned Order on the 15th July 2026 which comes into effect on the 27th July 2026. Notice of the proposal for making the Order was published in the Rotherham Advertiser on the 23rd April 2026.
The effect of the order if implemented will be to amend the current ‘Derestricted Speed Limit’ restrictions affecting the part of Hague Lane, Wentworth, Rotherham specified in the Schedule to this notice.
