Lowestoft - Temporary Road Closure due to New Water Connection Works

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE U8012 WINSTON AVENUE, LOWESTOFT
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U8012 Winston Avenue, Lowestoft from 100 metres south of the junction with Dell Road for 30 metres southbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Dell Road, Dixon Drive and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 03/08/2026 - 10/08/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
