(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the Order: To temporarily close at length of Grange Avenue, Mayland in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 180m south east of its junction with Steeple Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a south easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th August 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGTL6G5V) – Operreach. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while vehicle replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Grange Avenue, Steeple Road, Burnham Road, B1018, Green Lane, Grange Avenue and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 30th July 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

North Street, Southminster

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the Order: To temporarily close at length of North Street, Southminster in the District of Maldon from its junction with High Street to its junction with Orchard Road a distance of approximately 125m.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th August 2026 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001503977 – Cadent Gas). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent Gas.

An alternative route is available via North Street, B1021, Footpath Road, Green Lane, B1018 and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 30th July 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the Order: To temporarily close at length of Scraley Road, Heybridge in the District of Maldon from its junction with Rowan Drive for a distance of approximately 60m in a westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th August 2026 for 10 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013328967 – Essex and Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains connection works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water.

An alternative route is available via B1022, B1026, Chigborough Road and vice versa (with access only into Kingsway Place).

The Order will come into effect on 30th July 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Sheepcoates Lane, Southminster)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the Order: To temporarily close at length of Sheepcoates Lane, Southminster in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 30m north east of its junction with Queenborough Road a distance of approximately 40m in a north easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th August 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411002WH1M582R – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while vehicle replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the Order: To temporarily close at length of Church Street, Maldon in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 60m south west of its junction with The Hythe for a distance of approximately 55m in a south westerly direction then north westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th August 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03768043819/1) – Anglian Water Services (National). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Downs Road, Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Downs Road, Maldon in the District of Maldon District, from a point approximately 120m north west of its junction with Chelmer Terrace to a distance of approximately 85m in a north westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th August 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD037680343819 – Anglian Water Business (National)).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while jetting works are undertaken by Anglian Water Business (National).

An alternative route is available via Victoria Road, High Street, North Street and vice versa (with access only into Downs Road).

The Order came into effect on 16th July 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Lower Burnham Road, Cold Norton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lower Burnham Road, Cold Norton in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 60m south east of its junction with Fambridge Road for a distance of approximately 270m in a south easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th August 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WH1R1J4TPTSB – Openreach).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Maldon Road, Goldhanger in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Head Street for a distance of approximately 250m in a south westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th August 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WH1PVD4GPTSB – Openreach).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.
