B6306 EASTGATE HEXHAM

C282 DIPTON MILL ROAD HEXHAM

B6306 GALLOWS BANK HEXHAM

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in Hexham in the County of Northumberland:

B6306 Eastgate from its junction with U8293 Gibson Fields heading in a southwards direction for a distance of 110 metres.

C282 Dipton Mill Road from its junction with B6306 Eastgate heading in a southwards direction for a distance of 90 metres.

B6306 Gallows Bank from its junction with B6306 Eastgate heading in a south eastwards direction for its entire length.

The Order is to be effective from the 10th August 2026 until the 29th January 2027.

It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 10th August 2026 until the 30th August 2026 between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 29th January 2027.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via B6306, B6305, A695, B6307, U8296, C278, C282 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland Council for resurfacing and other associated works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

U8282 FAIR VIEW BACK LANE PRUDHOE

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8282 Fair View Back Lane from its point with the rear of 27 Fair View heading in a eastwards direction for a distance of 40 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 4th August 2026 until the 10th August 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 4th August 2026 until the 8th August 2026 between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 10th August 2026.

There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

B6306 EASTGATE HEXHAM

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6306 Eastgate Hexham from its junction with B6305 Battle Hill heading in a southwards direction for a distance of 20 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 29th July 2026 until the 5th August 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 29th July 2026 until 30th July 2026 between the hours of 09:00 and 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th August 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via B6306, B6307, A695, B6305 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to rectify defective reinstatement. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

C205 COLDCOTES TO WARK, WARK

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C205 Coldcotes to Wark from its junction with U8275 Westacres Footway heading in a north westerly direction for a distance of 80 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 3rd August 2026 until the 7th August 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 3rd August 2026 until the 5th August 2026 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 17th August 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C205, C204, C200, B6320 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water for cleansing and lining works to the sewer. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
