The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th August 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03166660963/FH – Anglian Water Business (National)). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one-network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by Anglian Water Business (National).
Alternative routes are available via:

Effect of the Order: To temporarily close that length of White Horse Avenue, Halstead Urban in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 70m north west of its junction with Three Gates Close for a distance of approximately 30m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd August 2026 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2391681/A/B – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
