LEICESTER CAUSEWAY, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Leicester Causeway commencing from its junction with Thornhill Road and continuing to its junction with Newland Road.
The Order will come into effect on 08:00 hours on Sunday 26th July 2026 and is required to enable the repair of a manhole cover and frame on the said road.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 17:00 hours on Sunday 26th July 2026.
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site. Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access to Leicester Causeway
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS
COVENTRY UNIVERSITY GRADUATION, COVENTRY 2026
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding along the roads set out in the Schedule below
The Order will prohibit vehicles to such an extent and at such time as indicated signs on site. Diversion routes for the closures will be as signed on site.
The Order will come into effect from 07:00 hours on Monday 27th July 2026 and is required to enable the safe operation of the ceremony.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months, but it is expected that the road will be re-opened at 17:30 hours on Friday 31st July 2026.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the ceremony;
(d) Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction and access through the restriction maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY PARKING & TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS
QUARRYFIELD LANE, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Quarryfield Lane southbound from the roundabout with Deasy Road to a point approx. 50m south of the roundabout.
The Order will come into effect at 07:00 hours on Monday, 27 July 2026 and is required to enable telecommunication mast maintenance and associated works on Quarryfield Lane to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 28 July 2026.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the closure will be sign posted on site.
Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) reasonable local vehicular access to Quarryfield Lane. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS
FOR EVENTS AT THE COVENTRY BUILDING SOCIETY ARENA 2025/26
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding along those lengths of road as set out in Schedule 1 below on the dates specified in Schedule 2 between the hours of 16:30 and 22:45.
The Order will come into effect at 14:00 on 31 July 2026 and is required to enable the safe access and egress from events and sporting fixtures being held at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
There may be events in addition to those listed in Schedule 2 or events which are rearranged once this Order is made. In such circumstances the road closures listed in Schedule 1 may be activated by signage on site.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the closures will be sign posted on site. Pedestrian access to premises on the affected lengths of road will be maintained at all times.
Exemptions will be provided for:-
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or an accredited traffic marshal;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles, when necessary, at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the events

RAGLAN STREET & EAST STREET, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along the roads set out in the Schedule below.
The Order would come into effect from 00:01 hours on Wednesday 5th August 2026 and is required to enable the safe excavation of a trench in the carriageway for the installation of ducting.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by Friday 4th September 2026.
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along St Martins Road Service Road commencing at its junction with Stonehaven Drive and continuing approximately 10m north and south of the junction.
The Order would come into effect from 00:01 hours on Monday 3rd August 2026 and is required to enable telecommunications mast maintenance works to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by Tuesday 4th August 2026.
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding along Sunningdale Avenue from its junction with Holbrook Road for approximately 30 metres.
The Order would come into effect at 07:00 hours on Tuesday, 4 August 2026 and is required to enable small sluice valve renewal and associated works on Sunningdale Avenue to take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed 6 August 2026. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the closure would be sign posted on site.
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer in uniform;
