The Scottish Borders Council (B6359 Dingleton Road, Melrose) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 27 July 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 16:00 on 23 August 2026. The Order is required for SPEN works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along both sides of the B6359 Dingleton Road, Melrose from the junction with Douglas Road for approximately 120 metres.

(BARR ROAD, GALASHIELS)
(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (Barr Road, Galashiels) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 30 July 2026 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, as detailed below. The Order is required for BT works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Barr Road, Galashiels, the specific times of road closure are as follows:
(i) 09:30 and 10:15, 10:30 and 11:15, 11:30 and 12:15, 12:30 and 13:15, 13:30 to 14:15 and 14:15 to 15:30.

(SCOTTISH AMBULANCE SERVICE CLINIC –
NEWTOWN ST BOSWELLS) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) NO 3 ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (Scottish Ambulance Service Clinic – Newtown St Boswells) (Temporary Closing) No 3 Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 18:00 on 28 July 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 30 July 2026. The Order is required in the interests of public safety due to increased traffic and pedestrians attending the Scottish Ambulance Service mobile clinic.
When the Order comes into effect, in the interests of public safety, no person shall (i) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle, and (ii) permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked, on Waverley Place Car Park, Newtown St Boswells. The Scottish Borders Council (Bowmont Street/Albert Place, Kelso) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 27 July 2026 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00. The Order is required for Go Fibre works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along both sides of the following roads:
(i) the C133 Bowmont Street, Kelso from the entrance to The Factory Shop to junction with Union Street; and
(ii) Albert Place, Kelso from the junction with Bowmont Street for entire length of street.
