ORDER 2026
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice,to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along this part of College Rise from its junction with College Road westward to the western boundary of No 19 College Rise.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via College Rise, Belmont Vale, College Glen and College Road.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate work in the said public highway, namely carriageway repairs and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.
The proposed Order shall come into operation between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours on Monday 10 August 2026.
There will be a prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
