OTLEY ROAD, BAILDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Otley Road, Baildon intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to make a right turn into Otley Road from Lower Holme or George Street.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Otley Road (unaffected section), Albert Street, Baildon Road, Rockcliffe Avenue, Cliffe Terrace, Green Lane and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 09:30 hours on the 3rd / 4th / 5th / 6th / 7th / 10th / 11th / 12th / 13th and 14th of August 2026 and remain in force until 15:30 hours on the 3rd / 4th / 5th / 6th / 7th / 10th / 11th / 12th / 13th and 14th of August 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
