The Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that the road(s) noted in the Schedule below will be closed/parking will be suspended for the period specified to enable To allow for carriageway resurfacing, minor civils works and installation of Road Marks to take place over two phases. works to be carried out. Diverstion Route: Phase One Main Diversion Route for traffic wishing to access Bank Street from the B7015 is to follow B7015 Market Street, B8046 Calder Park Road, A71, B7015 Main Street East Calder, B7015 Bank Street & Vice Versa. Phase One Secondary Diversion Route for traffic wishing to access Bank Street from Pumptherston Road is to follow Pumptherston Road, Almond South Road, Almond Road, A899 and then follow the main diversion. Phase Two Main Diversion Route for traffic wishing to access Bank Street from the B7015 are to follow B7015 Market Street, B8046 Calder Park Road, A71, B7015 Main Street East Calder, B7015 Bank Street & Vice Versa. Phase Two Secondary Diversion Route for traffic wishing to access Bank Street from Main Street is to follow Main Street to B8046 then Main Diversion Route.
Pedestrians will be directed to use the footpath/way opposite any sections of footpath/way that may have to be closed on Bank Street.
