(SHAWFIELD LANE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Shawfield Lane from its junction with Edenfield Road, Rochdale for a distance of 195 metres to the junction with Shawfield Grove.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Shawfield Lane from its junction with Shawfield Lane, Rochdale for a distance of 195 metres to the junction with Shawfield Grove.
The Order is required to facilitate a water mains renewal within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 00:00 on the 22nd July 2026 until 23:59 on the 31st August 2026.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Woodhouse Lane, Knowl Hill Drive, Seven Acres Lane, Keepers Drive & vice versa.
