TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC 151120084 : The City of Manchester (Burnage Hall Road, Burnage Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Burnage Hall Road. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Kingsway, Grangethorpe Drive, Burnage Lane, Burnage Hall Road vice versa. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate gas mains replacement works. It is expected that the works will be in progress from the 10th August 2026 to the 31st August 2026. The order shall come into operation on the 10th August 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
ORDER NO. MCC000 151268378: The City of Manchester (Peter Street, Deansgate Ward) (Temporary Suspension of Parking) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to suspend the operation of the designated parking place on Peter Street - first 3 bays from Mount Street on the Northbound Carriageway. The Council is satisfied that the suspension is necessary in order to facilitate filming. It is expected that the work will be in progress between 16:00hrs and 18:00hrs on 10th August 2026. The Order shall come into operation on 10th August 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
