ORDER 2026

Fife Council has made an Order under the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, prohibiting the use by through traffic of High St (from Townhall St to Queen St); and Hill St (from High St to Back O’ Yards).

The Order is to allow Lammas Fair to take place in safety and will be operational from 04/08/26 to 08/08/26. The alternative route for through traffic is via Hope St, B981, Ferry Roll Rd, Castlandhill Rd, A921 and B981. Access for emergency service vehicles, residents and pedestrians will be maintained.
