What is happening?

Temporary Orders 
The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 
(RTRA 1984) 
The County of Cornwall (Belgravia Street, Penzance) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Penzance. 

This prohibition is necessary for sewer connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th August 2026 to 21st August 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Belgravia Street, Penzance between the junction of Bread Street and the property known as number 32. An alternative route will be signed on site.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Ives. 

This prohibition is necessary for repairs to damaged service pipe and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th August 2026 to 21st August 2026. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Road affected - Road From Barnoon Hill To Clodgy View, St Ives between the grid references SW5168940657 and SW5170740673.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Pendeen. 

This prohibition is necessary for water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th August 2026 to 19th August 2026. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Road affected - Boscaswell Village, Pendeen between grid references SW3788634761 and SW3793434753.

The Cornwall Council

The County of Cornwall (A3071 From Lafrowda Common To Carn Bosavern, A3071 From Botrea To Lafrowda Common, A3071 Between Bosvenning Common Road And Lane To Botrea, St Just) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 20th July 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in St Just. 

This prohibition is necessary for surfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th August 2026 to 8th August 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included. 

Roads affected - A3071 From Lafrowda Common To Carn Bosavern, Higher Bosavern, St Just and A3071 From Botrea To Lafrowda Common, St Just for their entire lengths and A3071 Between Bosvenning Common Road And Lane To Botrea, Newbridge between the Access Track To Botrea Bungalow and the junction of North Road.
