Greengate West, Bridgewater Street And Surrounding Streets In Blackfriars And Trinity - Prohibition And Restriction Of Waiting

Salford City Council made the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The title and effects of the Order is as follows; City Of Salford (Greengate West, Bridgewater Street And Surrounding Streets In Blackfriars And Trinity) (Prohibition And Restriction Of Waiting) (Amendment) Order 2026 

The Order will introduce the following restrictions. No Waiting At Any Time on: Greengate W - N side, from its junction with Blackfriars Rd to its junction with Bridgewater St. S side, from Blackfriars Rd for 19.5m in an E direction. S side, from a point 36m E of of Blackfriars Rd, for 27m in an E direction. S side, from a point 99m E of Blackfriars Rd, for 50.3m in an E direction. Bridgewater St - Both sides, from Greengate W, for 15m in a N direction. W side, from a point 10m S of Change Way, to a point 29.4m N of Change Way. Twillbrook Dr - Both sides, from Poplin Dr, up to and including its cul-de-sac end. Poplin Dr - E side, from Twillbrook Dr, for 5m in a S direction. Georgette Dr - E side, from Twillbrook Dr, for 5m in a N direction. Dean Rd - N side, from Springfield Ln to Rope Walk. S side, from Springfield Ln for 21m in a W direction. S side, from Rope Walk, for 5.6m in an E direction. S side, from a point 33m E of Rope Walk, for 6.6m in an E direction. Anaconda Dr - NW side, from a point 10m N of Greengate W, to a point 51.9m from Carding Gr in an E then N direction. Both sides, from the cul-de- sac end, for 23m in a S direction. Carding Gr - Both sides, from Anaconda Dr, for 10m in a NW direction. Change Way - N side, from Bridgewater St, for 58.8m in a W then SW direction. S side, from Bridgewater St, up to and including the cul-de-sac end. SW side, from the cul-de-sac end for 20m in a NW direction. No Waiting 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday on: Bridgewater St - W side, from a point 15m N of Greengate W, to a point 10m S of Change Way. E side, from a point 15m N of Greengate W, to East Philip St. Carding Gr - Both sides, from a point 10m NW of Anaconda Dr, up to and including its cul-de-sac end. Anaconda Dr - W side, from a point 51.9m E then N of Carding Gr, to a point 23m S of the cul-de-sac end. SE, S and then E side, from a point 10m N of Greengate W, to a point 23m S of the cul-de-sac end. Change Way - NW then W side, from a point 58.8m SW of Bridgewater St, to a point 20m NW of the cul-de-sac end. Twillbrook Dr - Both sides, from Bridgewater St to Poplin Dr. Poplin Dr - W side, from Twillbrook Dr, up to and including its cul-de-sac end. E side, from a point 5m S of Twillbrook Dr, to its cul-de-sac end. Georgette Dr - E side, from a point 5m N of Twillbrook Drive, to its cul-de-sac end. W side, from Twillbrook Dr, to its cul-de-sac end. Existing Orders have been amended to be consistent with the proposals.

The Order will come into operation on the 23rd July 2026.

A copy of the Order and plan will be available for inspection at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm to Fri inclusive.
