THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(CHUTER EDE PRIMARY SCHOOL, FERNWOOD) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026 (3429)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be in respect of roads at Fernwood in the District of Newark and Sherwood:
1. Proposed prohibition of Waiting At Any Time along the following lengths of road: -
AVRO ROAD, FERNWOOD (the both sides) From its junction with Hunters Road in a south-westerly direction for 9 metres.
CAMDALE LANE, FERNWOOD (the north-west side) From its junction with Hunters Road in a south-westerly direction for 7 metres.
CAMDALE LANE, FERNWOOD (the south-east side) From its junction with Hunters Road in a south-westerly direction for 10 metres.
DIGBY AVENUE, FERNWOOD (the north-east side) From its junction with Hunters Road in a north-westerly direction for 10 metres.
DIGBY AVENUE, FERNWOOD (the south-west side) From its junction with Hunters Road in a north-westerly direction for 10 metres.
GARDINER AVENUE, FERNWOOD (the north-east side) From its junction with Johnsons Road in a south-easterly direction for 10 metres.
GARDINER AVENUE, FERNWOOD (the south-west side) From its junction with Johnsons Road in a south-easterly direction for 13 metres
HUNTERS ROAD, FERNWOOD (the north-west side) From a point 10 metres north-east of its junction with Digby Avenue in a south-westerly direction to a point 10 metres south-west of that junction.
HUNTERS ROAD, FERNWOOD (the south-west side)
From a point 10 metres north-west of its junction with Avro Road in a south-easterly direction to a point 10 metres south-east of that junction.
From a point 10 metres north-west of its junction with Camdale Lane in a south-easterly direction to a point 10 metres south-east of that junction.
From its junction with Phoenix Lane in a north-westerly direction for 8 metres.
HUNTERS ROAD, FERNWOOD (the north-east side) From its junction with Phoenix Lane in a north-westerly direction for 6 metres.
From a point 10 metres north-east of its junction with Gardiner Avenue in a south-westerly direction to a point 10 metres south-west of that junction.
PHOENIX LANE, FERNWOOD (the north-west side) From a point 10 metres north-east of its junction with Hunters Road in a south-westerly direction to a point 10 metres south-west of that junction.
2. Proposed prohibition of Waiting Mon - Fri 8am - 4.30pm along the following lengths of road: -
HUNTERS ROAD, FERNWOOD (the north-west and south-west side)
From a point 63 metres south-west of its junction with Digby Avenue in a south-westerly and south-easterly direction for 36 metres.
HUNTERS ROAD, FERNWOOD (the south-east side) From a point opposite a point 63 metres south-west of its junction with Digby Avenue in a south-westerly and southeasterly direction for 26 metres.
From a point opposite a point 10 metres south-east of the south-eastern building line of property no. 23 in a southeasterly direction for 27 metres.
HUNTERS ROAD, FERNWOOD (the south-west side) From a point 68 metres north-west of its junction with Camdale Lane in a north-easterly direction for 22 metres. Relevant documents may be inspected at during opening hours: -

The proposals are designed to fulfil the requirements of a Section 278 Agreement associated with the expansion of Chuter Ede Primary School, Fernwood, it is proposed to introduce additional parking restrictions within the surrounding area.
