TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2026
The Oldham Borough Council on 23rd July 2026 made a Temporary Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along that part of Denbigh Drive, Shaw from its junction with Deer Hill Drive for a distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction (Phase 1) or for a distance of 15 metres in a westerly direction (Phase 2).
The alternative route is via Denbigh Drive, Dorset Avenue and vice versa.
The Order is made to allow road and footway reconstruction works and will be in force for 14 days from 27th July 2026, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
