(Temporary Closure) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Mead Lane in Bognor Regis from the entrance to the University of Chichester car park, northwards for 35M. The road closure is needed to allow a broken sewer to be repaired in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 27 July 2026 and remain in force until 7 August 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(East Dean, Singleton & Westhampnett: Qatar Goodwood Festival)
(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:-
(i) prohibit vehicles from travelling along Pook Lane/Forage Yard Road, between Fordwater Road and Trundle Hill; Racecourse Road, between Kennel Hill and East Dean Hill; Lower Road; and
(ii) require all vehicles to travel at a speed not exceeding 30MPH on Kennel Hill Road/Trundle Hill, from New Road northwards for a distance of 3.4KM; Racecourse Road from Trundle Hill eastwards and north-eastwards for 600M; and
(iii) require all vehicles to travel at a speed not exceeding 40MPH on Racecourse Road, from a point 600M east of Trundle Hill eastwards for 200M; Trundle Hill, from a point 60M north-west of Knights Hill southwards for a distance of 200M.
This Order is necessary to ensure safe access and egress for pedestrians and for local residents during the Qatar Goodwood Festival 2026.
The manned road closures will in place from 0900-1930hrs daily from 28 July 2026 until 1 August 2026. The temporary speed limits will be operative from 0800hrs on 27 July 2026 until 1700hrs on 2 August 2026.

(Rogate: Bull Hill & Canhouse Lane)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close:-
(i) Bull Hill, between London Road and Harting Coombe Road; and then
(ii) Canhouse Lane, between Bull Hill and Harting Coombe Road.The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst new water mains are laid.
The Order will come into effect on 27 July 2026 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated the works will commence on or after 27 July 2026 and will be completed by 15 January 2027.
