(BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL (RESERVED BUS LANES AND BUS ONLY ROADS ETC) (VARIOUS ROADS BIRMINGHAM) ORDER 2022)
(VARIATION) (No. 13) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the above named Council have made these Orders under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 53,101 and 102 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers the effect of which will be as follows:

1. Vary and introduce stopping restrictions along lengths of the A45 COVENTRY ROAD ETC RED ROUTE (SMALL HEATH HIGHWAY, COVENTRY ROAD, NEW COVENTRY ROAD and adjoining side roads).

2. Vary and introduce Bus Lanes on lengths of SMALL HEATH HIGHWAY, COVENTRY ROAD and NEW COVENTRY ROAD.

The Orders will come into operation on 24th July 2026.

A copy of the Orders together with the plans and a statement of the Council’s reasons will be made available on request or, can be viewed at www.birminghambeheard.org.uk. (contact – customerservices@tfwm.org.uk, or by calling 0345 303 6760).

If any person wishes to question the validity of these Orders or of any of the provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to these Orders may within 6 weeks from the 23rd July 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
