THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD

(B383 SILWOOD ROAD (PART), SUNNINGDALE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2026

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of B383 Silwood Road from its junction with A329 London Road to its junction with Larch Avenue.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via A329 London Road, A329 London Road, B3020 Sunninghill Road, B3020 High Street, B3020 Bagshot Road, A330 Devenish Road, A30 London Road, B383 Broomhall Lane, B383 Station Road and B383 Silwood Road.

The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works on the said road, namely carriageway repairs, and there is the likelihood of danger to the public.

The proposed Order shall be in operation daily between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours from Wednesday 5 August until Friday 7 August 2026.

There will be a prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
