(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:
a) Ambarrow Lane, between Lower Sandhurst Road and Sandhurst Lodge Farm.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: A321 Wokingham Road, A321 High Street, Lower Church Road, Ambarrow Lane and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while the Highway Authority replace broken pipework in the carriageway.
The proposed Order will come into operation on the 27th July 2026, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place from 27th July between 09:30 and 15:30.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
