Havant - Temporary Road Closure Due To Utility Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - A3 LONDON ROAD (SOUTHBOUND), HAVANT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of A3 London Road between its junction with Forest End Roundabout and continuing to a point 40 metres Southwest on A3 London Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Rockville Drive, Stakes Hill Road, Stakes Road, Ladybridge Road and London Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Tuesday 4th August 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days working between the hours 09:30-15:30).
