NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Swansea Road, Northampton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Swansea Road, Northampton from Aberdare Road to Tintern Avenue.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during electricity mains reinforcement works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 3rd August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary.
