HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 119:
THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 3 (PART) - PARISH OF HOLMESFIELD)
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2026
THE ABOVE ORDER made on 07 May 2026 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert the whole width of that part of Holmesfield Parish Public Footpath No. 3 commencing at Point A (Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (“GR”) SK 3056 7813) and proceeding in a generally east north-eastward direction for around 56 metres to Point B (GR SK 3062 7815), to a 2-metre-wide footpath with a surface of compacted stone and grass at Storth House Farm in Holmesfield Parish, commencing from the aforementioned Point A and proceeding in a generally eastward direction along track for around 41 metres to Point C (GR SK 3060 7813), then north north-westward for around 6 metres to Point D (GR SK 3060 7813), then in a generally north-east direction for around 24 metres to the aforementioned Point B, a total distance of 71 metres or thereabouts. Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent to the Director of Legal and Democratic Services, Derbyshire County Council, County Hall, Matlock, Derbyshire, DE4 3AG or by email to

not later than 20 August 2026. Please state the grounds on which it is made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Derbyshire County Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
