What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
KESWICK DRIVE, NEWBOLD
WHEN: 10 August to 14 August 2026 (08:00 to 16:00 each day).
WHERE: Keswick Drive, Newbold from the Jct. of Kirkstone Road for a distance of 100m in a southerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway surface dressing and associated works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Kirkstone Road, Dunston Lane, Keswick Drive and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
