EXTENSION NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the above named Order made by
City of Doncaster Council on the 18th day of September 2025
which came into force on the 29th day of September 2025 and
extended until the 2nd day of August 2026 has been continued
in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for
Transport under section 15(3) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 up to and including the 27th day of
November 2026. The Order would otherwise have expired on
the 29th day of March 2026.
The Order was made to ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst work is undertaken to remove the existing
flood defence and replace with sheet pile.
Reason for the extension of the temporary order is that the
works whilst taking longer than originally planned are
temporary in nature, no other kind of order is considered
