What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
REDVERS BULLER ROAD, CHESTERFIELD
WHEN: 10 August to 11 August 2026 (22:00 to 06:00)
WHERE: Redvers Buller Road, Chesterfield from its Jct. with the A61 Derby Road for a distance of 15m in a westerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate water apparatus works on the A61 Derby Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Redvers Buller Road, Trevorrow Crescent, A61 Derby Road and vice
versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
