TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that the County Borough Council of Torfaen in exercise of their powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as Amended) have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit pedestrians and cyclists from proceeding along Footpath No. 174A Varteg, Pontypool. The footpath is approximately 80m in length and runs from Shop Road along the north side of Ysgol Bryn Onnen in a south-easterly direction. The footpath is shown by a bold black line from A-B on the Order Map.
The Order will come into operation on 22nd July 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.
