Beverley Road - Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
BEVERLEY ROAD, SOUTH CAVE

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along Beverley Road, South Cave (junction with Steep Hill to the junction with South Cave Road).

The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed carriageway patching works to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.

It is anticipated that the works will be completed by Saturday 8 August 2026. The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is via South Cave Road, Riplingham Road, Westoby Lane, Welton Road, Brick Dike Lane, West Hill, Kettlethorpe Hill, Station Road, Market Place and Beverley Road, South Cave.

The road will be closed to all through traffic but remain open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular access to properties directly affected by the closure and for emergency services. The Order will commence Wednesday 5 August 2026 from 08.00 hours and continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
