What is happening?
fff) to convert single yellow line waiting restriction (hours of control: Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 6.30pm) situated at the following locations to double yellow lines waiting restriction:
i. on the south side of Bolton Gardens, for 7 metres (23ft), outside Nos. 37 and 38 Bolton Gardens;
ii. on the northern side of Cale Street, for 6 metres (20ft), going east from its junction with Ixworth Place;
iii. on the south side of the southern arm of Kensington Gate, for 11 metres (36ft), going westwards from the residents’ bay on Kensington Gate;
iv. on the west side of the western arm of Markham Square, for 18 metres (59ft), going north from the junction with Kings Road;
v. on the east side of the western arm of Markham Square, for 6 metres (20ft), going north from the junction with Kings Road;
vi. on the west side of Radnor Walk, for 40 metres (161ft), going south from the junction with Kings Road;
vii. on the east side of Radnor Walk, for 5 metres (16ft), going south from the junction with Kings Road;
viii. on the east side of Sydney Street, for 7.5 metres (25ft), going south from its junction with Cale Street;
ix. on the east side of Sydney Street, for 3.5 metres (11ft), going north from its junction with Cale Street;
ggg) to convert single yellow line (hours of control: Mon-Fri 8.30am-6.30pm and Sat 8.30am-1.30pm) at the following locations, to raised table;
i. on the south side of Kynance Mews, for 3 metres (9ft), outside the flank wall of No. 74 Gloucester Road, situated in Kynance Mews;
ii. on the north side of Kynance Place, for 3 metres (9ft), outside the flank wall of No. 72 Gloucester Road, situated in Kynance Place;
hhh) to convert residents’ parking situated at the following locations to electric vehicle charging bays:
i. on the north side of Markham Square, outside No. 26 Markham Square, the two echelon parking bays;
ii. on the south side of Tedworth Square, opposite No. 16 Tedworth Square, the two residents parking bays immediately east of the junction, on the southern side of the carriageway;
iii) to convert residents’ parking at the following locations to pedestrian zigzag waiting markings:
i. on the southern side of Cale Street, for 5 metres (16ft), outside St Luke’s Gardens (Recreation Ground). This is the westernmost 5 metres of the resident parking bay at this location;
ii. on the east side of Ixworth Place, for 10 metres (33ft), outside the flank wall and courtyard of the Sutton Estate, located in Ixworth Place;
iii. on the west side of Ixworth Place, for 10 metres (33ft), opposite the flank wall and courtyard of the Sutton Estate, located in Ixworth Place;
iv. on the west side of Ladbroke Grove, for 10 metres (33ft), outside Nos. 249 and 251 Ladbroke Grove;

A copy of the Orders and other documents may be obtained via email by contacting trafficorders@rbkc.gov.uk or by contacting Nuala Reidy by telephone on 07739 317 017 quoting reference “Jul26 Misc” and can be inspected by appointment at Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.
4. Anyone wishing to support or object to any of the proposals or make any other representations in respect of them, should send a statement in writing to that effect, and in the case of an objection, stating the grounds thereof to the Council, by email to: trafficorders@rbkc.gov.uk or by post to: Traffic Orders, Transportation and Highways, Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX, quoting reference “Jul26 Misc” by 12th August 2026.
5. Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any letter you write to the Council in response to this Notice may be made available to the press and to the public, who would be entitled to take copies of it if they so wished.
