The Secretary of State hereby gives notice of the proposal to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up of a length and eastern part width and a length and western part width of an unnamed highway as lies off Mansfield Road at Clipstone in the District of Newark and Sherwood. If the order is made, the stopping up will be authorised only to enable development as permitted by Newark and Sherwood District Council under reference 23/00832/FULM.
Copies of the draft order and relevant plan will be available for inspection during normal opening hours at One Stop, 50 Mansfield Road, Clipstone Mansfield, NG21 9EQ in the 28 days commencing on 22 July 2026, and may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State (quoting SUO5690132) at the address stated below.
Any person may object to the making of the proposed order by stating their reasons in writing to the Secretary of State at nationalcasework@ dft.gov.uk or National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ, quoting the above reference. Objections should be received by midnight on 19 August 2026. You are advised that your personal data and correspondence will be passed to the applicant/agent to enable your objection to be considered.
