(B4185 Meadow Road, Catshill) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4185 Meadow Rd from its junction with C2280 Wildmoor Ln to its junction with B4091 Stourbridge Rd.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route: B4091 Stourbridge Rd, A491 Sandy Ln, A38 Halesowen Rd, B4185 Golden Cross Ln, B4185 Gibb Ln and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days between 17 August 2026 and 31 August 2026.

(U42024 Shaw Lane, Stoke Prior) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U42024 Shaw Ln from its junction with C2004 Shaw Ln for a distance of 70 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.

Alternative route: C2004 Shaw Ln and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days.

Commencing: 28 July 2026.

(A4133 Droitwich Road, Ombersley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of A4133 Droitwich Rd from its junction with A449 Main Rd Exit Slip to its junction with A4133 High Park Roundabout.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route:

Diversion anticlockwise - A38 Roman Way, A442 Kidderminster Rd, A442 Droitwich Rd, A449 Worcester Rd, A449 Main Rd.

Diversion Clockwise - A4133 Main Rd, A449 Main Rd, A449 Worcester Rd, A442 Droitwich Rd, A442 Kidderminster Rd, A38 Roman Way.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 nights (20:00 - 06:00) between 31 July 2026 and 13 August 2026.

(C2076 Tagwell Road, Droitwich Spa) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of C2076 Tagwell Rd from its junction with U42220 Tagwell Grange to its junction with C2076 Tagwell Rd Roundabout.

Reason: Gas main replacement by Energy Assets Pipelines Ltd.

Alternative route: C2086 Newland Ln, C2086 Pulley Ln, A38 Worcester Rd, B4090 Worcester Rd, B4090 Salt Way, B4090 Hanbury St, C2076 The Holloway, C2076 Tagwell Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs).

Commencing: 27 July 2026.

(C2032 Himbleton to Middle Road, Himbleton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of C2032 Himbleton to Middle Rd from its junction with C2150 Goosehill Ln to Earls Common for a distance of 320 metres in a north easterly direction.

Reason: Utility work by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2150 Goosehill Ln to Earls Common, C2150 Earls Common to Hill Top Rd, C2053 Earls Common Rd, C2053 Middle Rd, C2032 Middle Rd to Himbleton and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days.

Commencing: 27 July 2026.

(U21612 Hillview Road, Rubery) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U21612 Hillview Rd from its junction with U21609 Barrington Rd to its junction with U21611 Woodlands Rd.

Reason: Footway Reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: U21609 Barrington Rd, U21616 Cleves Rd, U21612 Hillview Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days (No Weekend Working).

Commencing: 17 August 2026.

(B4091 Stourbridge Road/U21470 Barnsley Hall Road, Catshill) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of:

1) B4091 Stourbridge Rd including the entire roundabout from its junction with U21481 Keith Winter Cl for a distance of 370 metres in a northerly direction.

2) U21470 Barnsley Hall Rd from its junction with B4091 Stourbridge Rd Roundabout for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing inc civil works by WCC.

Alternative route:

Closure 1: B4091 Stourbridge Rd – B4091 Barnsley Hall Roundabout, B4091 Stourport Rd, A448 Stratford Rd, A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass, A38 Lickey End Roundabout, A38 Birmingham Rd, B4185 Golden Cross Ln, B4185 Gibb Ln, B4185 Meadow Rd, B4091 Stourbridge Rd (part) and vice versa.

Closure 2: U21470 Barnsley Hall Rd – No diversion as road leads to a dead end.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 nights (20:00–05:00) between 19 August 2026 and 31 August 2026.

(C2159 Little Heath Lane, Lickey End) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2159 Little Heath Ln from its junction with B4096 Alcester Rd to its junction with U21561 Meadowvale Rd.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent.

Alternative route: B4096 Alcester Rd, U21561 Meadowvale Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 8 days (24hrs).

Commencing: 17 August 2026.

(U41708 Ledwych Road, Droitwich Spa) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U41708 Ledwych Rd from its junction with U41711 Arrow Croft to its junction with U41710 Leigh Grove.

Reason: Utility work by BT.

Alternative route: C2255 Salwarpe Rd, U41708 Ledwych Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days.

Commencing: 18 August 2026.

(B4184 New Road/U21301 Rigby Lane, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of:

1) B4184 New Rd from its junction with U21061 Marlborough Ave to its junction with U21058 Carlyle Rd.

2) U21301 Rigby Ln from its junction with B4184 New Rd to its junction with U21300 Dragoon Fields.

Reason: Replacement manhole cover and frame by STW.

Alternative route:

Diversion 1: B4184 Finstall Rd, B4184 Alcester Rd, B4096 Hewell Ln, B4184 Birchfield Rd, A448 Bromsgrove Highway, A38 Slideslow Farm Roundabout, A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass, B4184 New Rd (part) and vice versa.

Diversion 2: U21301 Rigby Ln (part), B4184 Finstall Rd, B4184 New Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 16 August 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Footpath BM-506, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 26 January 2026 the effect of which is to close Footpath BM-506, Bromsgrove for its entire length which was due to expire on 9 July 2026 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 29 April 2027 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Order has been made as a result of cycleway construction adjoining the footpath.

Alternative route: There is no suitable alternative route.

(District of Wychavon – Droitwich Area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2026 [Prohibition of Waiting on Berry Hill Industrial Estate, Droitwich]

On 9 July 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following side and length of road in Droitwich:-

U41764 (Egg Hill) (East side): From its junction with U41767 (Ten Acres) for 15 metres in a northerly direction.

U41767 (Ten Acres) (North side): From its junction with U41764 (Egg Hill) for 25 metres in an easterly direction.

U41766 (Ten Acres) (West side): From a point 275 metres north of its junction with U41769 (West Bank South) for 40 metres in a northerly direction.

U41769 (West Bank South) (North side): From its junction with A38 Roman Way (northbound) for 60 metres in an easterly direction.

(South side): From its junction with A38 Roman Way (northbound) for 5 metres in an easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 30 July 2026.
