ELTON LANE, EAGLESCLIFFE TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council made the above order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 16th July 2026, the Highway Authority being satisfied that access to the said road should be prohibited because works are being or are proposed to be carried out on or near the road.
The effect of the Order, which came into effect on 16th July 2026, is to temporarily close Elton Lane, Eaglescliffe, from its roundabout junction with A67 Urlay Nook Road / Durham Lane in a northerly direction for approximately 10 metres, at such times as traffic signs may be erected to notify road users of the closure. The Order may continue in force for a maximum period of eighteen months.
A diversion route will be signed on site. Access for pedestrians and emergency services will be maintained.
